IAJGS Conference
Our Society was honored at the International Conference on Jewish Genealogy in Jerusalem this summer when we received the 2015 Award for Outstanding Project in recognition of our members’ work on the Memorial (Yahrzeit) Plaques project.

At the same conference, Doug Cohen, Treasurer of JGSGB, was elected Treasurer of the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies. More news from the conference will appear in the October issue of Mass-Pocha.
New Ukraine SIG
We have a new Special Interest Group, the Ukraine SIG. It will be led by Alan Shuchat and hold its first meeting on September 27 around 3:30 pm after our regular program.
