Database includes searchable online indices of Jewish vital records (birth, death, marriage, divorce), notarial records and census data from current and former Polish territories. A town explorer tool allows users to search for towns, view them on a map, and access town-specific information like surname lists and volunteer contacts. JRI-Poland offers access to both scanned and translated versions of Polish geographical dictionaries, topographic maps of Eastern Europe, including a 1820-1827 map of the Kingdom of Poland. JRI-Poland has developed interactive mapping capabilities, allowing for the overlay of maps with information about locations and properties. JRI-Poland has scanned and made searchable the 1929 Polish Business Directory, including Gdansk. They have incorporated indices to burials in various cemeteries and has indexed genealogical-related holdings at the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw, including records from Krakow, Warsaw, and other locations. It is accessible through JewishGen.
