An Introduction to Holocaust Genealogical Research

Program Description:

If you have Ashkenazic or other European origins, you have relatives who were impacted by the Holocaust. This talk will explore the major repositories for Holocaust research, how to access these records online, and how finding both family members who perished and those who survived the Shoah can be an important tool for expanding your family research.

Carolyn KohlmanPresenter Bio:

Carolyn Lee Kohlman is the immediate past co-President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston. The main focus of her family research is in Germany, including Holocaust research. Carolyn, a retired clinical social worker, is a hospice and pastoral care volunteer when not engaged in genealogy.

There will be an optional Buffet Lunch (catered kosher) at 12 Noon.  Advance reservations for the lunch are required and must be purchased online by November 17.  Lunch cannot be purchased at the event.  More information on the cost and how to register will be forthcoming.
